One of the permanent birth control methods that are carried out in men is the Vasectomy. If this procedure is performed, then egg cannot be fertilized after the sexual activity. This is because there will not be any sperms to enter the vagina for union. These sperms are produced by the male reproductive organs in the testes.
The testes are situated in the Scrotum. There are many ducts that are present in the male organs called as the seminal ducts that form the ejaculatory ducts.
The semen fluid that is present in them is bought by the vas deferens and is carried to the urethra which will get ejaculated during the sexual activity. In case of vasectomy, the vas deferens is tied and thus stops the transfer of the sperms into the tubes. This will in turn avoid the ejaculation. This is a surgical procedure and can be carried out in various ways of burning, tying and also by stitching.
Vasectomy is a simple operation which can be performed by giving a local anesthesia. There are also different types of vasectomy like the conventional vasectomy, facial vasectomy, open and closed vasectomy, no scalpel vasectomy and the vasclip vasectomy. These are the types of vasectomy of which, the minor procedures can be performed within few minutes.
A person, who undergoes this surgery, can get discharged from the clinic within few hours. It involves only few days for the person to get recovered and to carry out the regular activities. There are also no complications involved in this type of contraception.
